Renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews may be inducted in to the WWE Hall of Fame soon. Conversations have taken place within the WWE about inducting the famous doctor, as per a report on F4Wonline.com.
Rumors of Andrews’ possible induction started after a fan tweet scrolled across television screens on Monday Night Raw. Andrews has performed a number of surgeries on WWE superstars, including CM Punk, Edge, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Batista, and most recently John Cena.
Andrews’ list of famous clients does not stop with sports entertainers however, as he is the team doctor for the Washington Redskins, as well as for colleges such as Alabama and Auburn. He also repaired NFL quarterback Drew Brees’ shoulder, and has also performed surgeries or consultations for Michael Jordan, Jack Nicklaus, Emmitt Smith, John Smoltz, Troy Aikman, Charles Barkley, Roger Clemens, Reggie Bush, Andrei Markov, Bo Jackson, Adrian Peterson, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Griffin III, Brett Favre, Ryan Broyles, Rajon Rondo, Michael Morse, Jonny Venters, Nerlens Noel, Rickie Weeks, and Brian Cushing.
