WWE.com is reporting that Dean Ambrose suffered an eye injury during his match with Daniel Bryan this past Tuesday night. The match aired this past Friday night on Smackdown, and WWE is now showcasing photographs of Ambrose being checked out in the back. He was evaluated by WWE medical staff and officials are saying that he won’t miss any in-ring time.

Ambrose has been the Shield member that has been competing in singles matches in the last couple of weeks. Since the Shield were called up from NXT, Ambrose has stood out to WWE officials as the next big “star” out of the group, being that he’s got the talent in and out of the ring. He was chosen to work with the Undertaker 2 weeks ago, and Undertaker raved about working with him. While all three members should be break out singles competition stars in the near future, expect that Ambrose will be pushed before Rollins and Reigns.

You can read WWE.com’s complete interview and view all of the images of Ambrose being checked out here.
