It was announced during this week’s episode of TNA Impact Wrestling that the annual Bound for Glory series will return to crown a #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. Bobby Roode won the inaugural tournament in 2011 and would eventually go on to be the longest reigning champion in company history. Jeff Hardy won the tournament in 2012 on his road to redemption, defeating Austin Aries on the big stage at Bound for Glory.

This year’s Bound for Glory series kicks off next week on Impact Wrestling, as four former Gut Check winners compete to earn a spot in the tournament for the very first time. Which rookie will have the chance to fight for a chance at immortality? Find out next week on Impact Wrestling!
