The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the WWE has big plans this summer for former World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. The current “weak link” storyline Bryan is involved in will spilt him off from Team Hell No, and he will move into the WWE Championship picture with current champion John Cena. Bryan is scheduled to face Cena for the WWE Title during the main event of July’s Money In The Bank PPV.

Reports and rumors are claiming that the plans backstage are to keep both men face and work a “face vs face” match. Officials in the WWE understand that it would not be wise to try and make Bryan heel before heading to Philadelphia for the pay-per-view, as Bryan always gets a massive response in Pennsylvania. WWE Creative could always change this feeling and turn Bryan heel for the program, but it is unlikely that they will kill his current momentum as a face. Bryan is commonly referred to as one of the most talented and over wrestlers in the business by his peers and fans alike.
