Current “NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn” Card; Huge Ladder Match Main Event, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, the Debut of Apollo Crews (Uhaa Nation), and More!

“NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn” will broadcast live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Aug. 22. Some of the matches below contain spoilers and/or rumored to take place on the card, but have yet to be officially announced.

The currently advertised match card for the event is as follows:

NXT Championship Ladder Match
Finn Bálor (c) vs. Kevin Owens

NXT Tag Team Championship Match
Blake and Murphy (c) vs. The Vaudevillians

NXT Women’s ChampionshipMatch
Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley

Jushin “Thunder” Liger vs. Tyler Breeze

Samoa Joe vs. Baron Corbin

Apollo Crews (Uhaa Nation) makes his debut, and Hideo Itami and others will appear. Prior to the “TakeOver” event, an episode of “NXT” will be filmed for the following week’s broadcast on the WWE Network. “NXT” airs on Wednesdays on the WWE Network at 8 p.m. ET.
