WWE taped the July 18 edition of “Smackdown” in Fayetteville, NC on July 15. The following are the results of the show, which will air on SyFy, Friday, July 18. Thank you to our correspondent, Lynard Skinner (@SkinDogg22), for the results!

WWE “Smackdown” (07-18-14)

* Dean Ambrose opens the show cutting cutting promo on Seth Rollins. Rollins then appears on via the Titantron, claiming that his knee injury may keep him from fighting Ambrose on “Smackdown,” but their match at “Battleground” is still on. Kane vs Ambrose is then made for “Smackdown.”

Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz and Fandango was then announced for the program.

1.) Alberto Del Rio def. Kofi Kingston.

2.) Alicia Fox vs. Eva Marie (w/ Nikki Bella as Special Referee). Fox and Marie (who undergoes a heel turn) attack Bella.

* Chris Jericho cuts a promo about Wyatt before his match with Wyatt Family member Luke Harper.

3.) Chris Jericho def. Luke Harper. Y2J puts Harper in the Walls of Jericho, but Rowan tries to interfere. Jericho takes out Rowan, then rolls up Harper for the win. Following the match, the Wyatts lay a beat down on Jericho until the Usos make the save to a thunderous pop.

* Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger arrive to cut a promo. Lana and Rusev join the party and are quickly drowned out by “USA” chants! No physicality here in this segment.

4.) Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus def. Fandango and The Miz via pinfall. Ziggler, who was extremely over the entire match, hits the Zig Zag for the win.

5.) AJ Lee and Paige def. Summer Rae and Layla via Submission. “CM Punk” chants begin as soon as Lee appears. Lee gets the Black Widow on Summer Rae.

6.) Dean Ambrose def. Kane via DQ. The match goes on for about 10 minutes before Ambrose is attacked by Seth Rollins. Rollins hits Ambrose with the Money in the Bank briefcase, then gives him a Curb Stomp on the steel ring steps to end the show and build towards their bout at “Battleground.”

Dark Match Segment:
Roman Reigns comes out to save Ambrose, then the Wyatt Family comes out to attack them all. Enter the Usos to a big pop, then Chris Jericho. The faces then all hit their finishes on the heels to send the crowd home happy.
