Japanese sensation KENTA recently signed a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment during a signing ceremony in Osaka just one week ago.

He then spoke to members of the media shortly thereafter, answering questions about relocating to Orlando and the possibility of changing his name.

Here are some quick takeaways :

  • KENTA said that he’s currently in the process of moving to Orlando and that he’s extremely excited to be working in NXT.
  • He’s very much open to changing his name if WWE officials believe it to be necessary.
  • He’s still working on getting a stronghold over the English language.
  • He has no problem starting from the bottom and working his way up in order to make a name for himself in the company.

KENTA will begin his tenure in NXT in August.

Editor’s Note

He’s saying all the right things. The only skepticism I have is WWE’s history with using Japanese stars properly.
