In a recent appearance on “FOX Sports Live: Countdown,” which will air Monday, May 11, former WWE Champion Chris Jericho reveals the rest of his list of 1,004 holds that he used in an infamous in-ring segment while employed with WCW. Jericho was mocking his then rival Dean Malenko, who was known as “The Man of 1,000 Holds” during the initial reveal of the list.

Jericho famously pulled out a list on old computer paper following a WCW match in 1998 and began reading, which included his 1,004 holds. He began before a commercial, and continued when the broadcast came back from the break. In what many believe to be his “break out” promo, Jericho began listing various wrestling maneuvers in his repertoire, including the most notable from the segment, which was repeated multiple times during his promo, “Armbar.”

Jericho would go on to be one of the most popular heels in WCW history before jumping ship to WWE in 1999. Upon debuting for WWE, he interacted with The Rock in what many have claimed is the best WWE debut in the company’s history.

You can watch Jericho try to read his full list of 1,004 holds in the video clip below.
