Chris Jericho to Host Another Live Podcast with Stephanie McMahon as His Guest

WWE recently announced that former WWE Champion Chris Jericho is set to host another live edition of his podcast on the WWE Network. Jericho will sit down with Stephanie McMahon of The Authority on April 30 at 10 p.m.ET, immediately following the April 30 edition of “Smackdown.”

Jericho recently hosted a live edition of his podcast with WWE United States Champion John Cena as his guest. While the interview was entertaining, it was not as revealing or controversial as the two episodes of “The Steve Austin Show” that were filmed for the WWE Network.

WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin hosted two editions of the WWE Network live podcast special, once with Vince McMahon, and once with Triple H. Both episodes were packed with controversial statements and topics, including CM Punk’s departure, kayfabe being dead, what the creative team actually does, who calls all the shots and makes all the decisions in regards to WWE TV, and more.

While Cena and Jericho’s show was enjoyable, it wasn’t controversial. The two merely reminisced and told stories about the road and what goes on behind-the-scenes for Cena. Stephanie McMahon’s appearance on the program will likely mirror Cena’s, where the two simply talk about her day-to-day schedules, their time together spent in the ring, etc.

The live podcast will air on the WWE Network immediately following “Smackdown” on April 30.

Editor’s Note:

I dunno how controversial it’ll be, but if they shoot and talk about Steph being a dirty, smelly, bottom-feeding, trash bag ho, I’ll enjoy it.
