WWE superstar Chris Jericho will be taking another break from the company to tour with his rock band Fozzy this fall. As we previously reported, Jericho had only been advertised for events leading up to the WWE’s August PPV, Summerslam. Jericho took to Twitter Tuesday morning to announce that Fozzy will be going on a 2-month long tour with fellow rockers Saxon starting in September.

The tour begins September 12th and runs though various dates in the US and Canada until October 10th. Jericho has adapted a “come-and-go” career since 2009, meaning he’ll be a key player in the WWE for a good span of time, then leave for 3-6 months to pursue other endeavors, much notably Fozzy. While Jericho is set to face-off against former WWE Champion CM Punk this Sunday, June 16th at WWE Payback, it is uncertain as to how long that program will last. Many are wondering what Jericho will do between Payback and Summerslam. The obvious route for July’s Money in the Bank event would be to have Jericho compete in a MITB Ladder Match, as he’s the “creator” of the bout and can put over all of the other superstars that wind up in the match with him.
All that is known for sure, is that Jericho will continue to be one of the biggest names the WWE has, no matter how many times he comes and goes.
