Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins Set for WWE “Battleground” Main Event

Brock Lesnar will face Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE “Battleground” on July 19. The match was announced during the June 15 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”

It was previously reported that Lesnar would be appearing during the June 15 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” which he did during the final segment of the program. WWE COO Triple H declared that Rollins would have to face incredible pressure to prove that his investment as champion is worthwhile. That pressure is Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar is expected to face Rollins at “Battleground,” appearing on “RAW” until the PPV on July 19, and then on the program the weeks following the event. While he hasn’t been officially promoted for “SummerSlam” just yet, he is also expected to appear on that card and work a match during that PPV as well.

Lesnar vs. Rollins is now the second confirmed match for the 2015 “Battleground” event. The other confirmed bout for the PPV is Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt. Other matches that have been rumored for the card can be seen here. “Battleground” will emanate from Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri via the WWE Network on July 19.
