This is something you don’t see every day.

WWE superstar Mustafa Ali was recently featured in an issue of National Geographic magazine, which highlighted how South Asian Americans are forging their own cultural path and building their own American dream.

Ali is a member of 205 Live and a great match with Hideo Itami a few weeks ago. You can see a clip below:

The magazine had the following to say about Ali and his success in WWE:

Ali, who was introduced to wrestling by his father, says he is the first WWE wrestler of Pakistani descent. As a kid, he and his older brothers broke a lot of furniture at their house because they were always wrestling.

Editor’s Opinion:

This is very cool! I’ve been a fan of him for a long time, and think that he is one of the top stars, not only in 205 Live, but in the entire company. He is good on the mic, amazing in the ring and could be a major player in WWE for years to come!
