Dear Wrestling Rumors readers:

Our website exists to provide all wrestling fans with the most up-to-date news and rumors that come to be in the world of professional wrestling. However, we have also expanded our coverage to other media platforms, including opinion pieces and reviews written by our editors and “The Pipebomb” podcast, which also appears on the New Age Insiders Wrestling Network.

However, our newest venture has also become one of our most popular. Each week on “Universal Chatter,” I watch various wrestling programs, including “Raw,” “Smackdown Live,” as well as any “NXT Takeover” and pay-per-views on the WWE Network. The show serves as a platform for fans to have somebody to watch wrestling with, ask questions about the product, and build a community of people who have a common love and interest.

In addition, people are occasionally put on the “List of Dericho,” if they manage to say and do things that are not necessarily of the highest quality. 🙂

You may have noticed that we have not been able to have regular shows in the last few weeks, and myself, as well as our editors have received questions as to if we are going on air for each show. I wanted to write this article today to explain what the status of the show is, and how we will proceed in the future.

The reason that we have not been able to have shows recently, is because both Facebook and WWE have been cracking down on creating any type of illegal stream that may exist as a result of audio and video appearing in the background of videos that are posted. We noticed this when we tried to do a stream of “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III,” and were blocked from streaming on “Facebook Live” for a few days.

We tried doing a show last Monday for “Raw,” using headphones into an iPad to mute the sound on the TV. However, the television in the background can still intermittently be heard which isn’t acceptable to Facebook and puts our page at risk.

So, what does this mean for the future of “Universal Chatter?”

Myself, along with the truly wonderful upper management of the site, are working on solutions going. We all recognize that this is something that our fans love, and we want to continue to make it happen!

We’ve discussed ideas of doing either a pre-show or post-show to WWE programming; much like “Wrestling Warm-Up” that used to exist on YouTube. Nothing has been set in stone yet, but the discussions are occurring every day.

The main message that we want to deliver is that “Universal Chatter” is very important to us, and we will be continuing to have the show in the future. We just don’t know exactly what that will look like at this time.

As we continue to create solutions to the situation, we will provide updates here, as well as on my personal Twitter account. In the meantime, thank you for ALL of your support; we love the fans and the interaction that we experience with all of you.

So, keep being great, or else….YOU MIGHT MAKE THE LIST!!!!!
