Former WWE Universal Champion and arguably Brock Lesnar’s greatest rival Bill Goldberg recently appeared on the Fighter and the Kid podcast, where he talked about whether or not Lesnar will return to mixed martial arts once his current WWE contract expires next spring.

According to Goldberg, Lesnar will only return to the UFC for one fight, and that’s the super-fight with UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. However, Jones is facing a pretty lengthy suspension if he can’t prove that his recent drug test failure was due to a tainted supplement, so that fight might be off the table for good.

Brock would only return to the UFC for Jon Jones, Conor would be perfect in the WWE, and CM Punk

“I think [Lesnar] does [want to fight again]. I think it may be in his plans. The [Jon Jones USADA failure] threw a huge wrench into it, because if it ain’t Jon there ain’t nobody big enough for him.”

As previously mentioned, Lesnar’s current WWE deal expires next spring, immediately following WrestleMania 34.
