Tonight’s episode of Raw emanates from the SAP Center in San Jose, California. Here’s what we can expect from the final show before “No Mercy:”

Nia Jax aims to knock Alexa Bliss off her pedestal

Prior to the Fatal 4-Way match at “No Mercy” for the “Raw” Women’s Championship, two of the combatants will square off, as Nia Jax goes one-on-one with the champion, Alexa Bliss. My guess is that this will end in a no contest somehow, and all four participants will end up brawling. Either way, it should be entertaining, and we can get an idea of just how good “Little Miss Bliss” really is.

Will it be Roman Reigns or John Cena who gets in the final word before WWE No Mercy?

It has been an intense war of words between Roman Reigns and John Cena over the last few weeks. However, it has also been previously reported that Cena may not be at “Raw” this week due to obligations overseas, which might end up being great for Reigns. Whether he is booked to look like he will either dominate or be destroyed by Cena, all eyes will be on the “big dog,” which is what he needs to continue to advance his character going forward.

Braun Strowman shows no mercy

Last week on “Raw,” another layer to the upcoming match between Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship was added. The “monster among men” threw around “the beast” like a rag doll, and looked absolutely dominant against the champion. That is what exactly needed to happen, and Strowman needs to continue tearing down the competition on this week’s show.

He has to be made to look like he will defeat Lesnar to give this match even more intrigue, even though I have a strange feeling that “the beast” will be walking out of “No Mercy” as the champion.

Brothers-in-arms stand triumphant

An 8-man Tag Team match ended last week’s episode of “Raw,” with the Tag Team champions Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, along with the Hardy Boyz, defeating Sheamus, Cesaro and The Club. I honestly have no idea where this is going to go on this week’s show; all I know is that the Tag Team title match between the former Shield members and The Bar will deliver, as these four superstars have great chemistry together.

Will Enzo Amore get even with The Miz?

The biggest news to come out of last week’s episode of “Raw” is that the Intercontinental Champion, The Miz and his wife, Maryse, are expecting their first baby! While this is, of course, wonderful, the other big story to come out of this segment was the interplay between Miz and Enzo Amore.

This was Amore’s best promo and interaction with a superstar during his singles run, and pairing him with The “A-Lister” is absolutely perfect. Although Amore is currently on “205 Live,” I would love to see him enter a longer feud with The Miz, as the banter between the two would be comedic gold.
