Tonight’s episode of “Raw” emanates from the Cajundome in Layfette, Louisiana. Here’s what we can expect for tonight’s show:
Will Brock Lesnar bring the pain to Samoa Joe?
Last week, Samoa Joe made his presence known by putting Paul Heyman in the Coquina Clutch. This would inspire Heyman to encourage Brock Lesnar to return to “Raw” and confront the “Samoan Submission Machine.” With “Great Balls of Fire” still being a few weeks away, I don’t expect a physical encounter between the two, but the tension building to their big clash will be heightened, without a doubt.
The Hardy Boyz challenge Cesaro & Sheamus for the Raw Tag Team Titles in anticipated rematch
After losing the “Raw” Tag Team Championships at “Extreme Rules,” Matt and Jeff Hardy get their opportunity to win back the titles against Cesaro and Sheamus tonight. I expect the champions to retain here, as there is no reason to take the titles off of them just yet.
Who is Enzo Amore & Big Cass’ attacker?
In one of the more intriguing storylines in recent memory, Enzo Amore has been the subject of several backstage attacks recently. I’m not sure when they will get to the end of this, or who will be revealed as the attacker, but I’m curious to see where they go with this tonight.
Can Alexa Bliss evade Nia Jax’s fury?
Last week on “Raw,” Alexa Bliss cleverly escaped with the Women’s Championship by attacking Mickie James and Dana Brooke, who were at ringside. This feud is certainly not over, though I would expect some sort of tag match tonight, before Bliss and Nia Jax battle one more time for the title at “Great Balls of Fire.”
Is Bray Wyatt coming for The Kingslayer?
Even though Seth Rollins dismissed Bray Wyatt as a ‘false prophet’ last week, I am all about these two going at it one more time. These two having a brief feud before getting into “SummerSlam” works just fine, and will give us a series of promos and matches that will be outstanding and entertaining in every sense of the words.
Will Dean Ambrose strike again?
After losing the Intercontinental Championship to The Miz at “Extreme Rules,” Dean Ambrose got a small amount of revenge when he crashed the “Intercontinental Championship Comeback Tour.” This feud is far from over, and I look forward to seeing it continue tonight on “Raw.”
