The action never stops! WWE posted a new video to its YouTube channel on Leap Year day, in which they announced that the 3rd season of Southpaw Regional Wrestling will be debuting later this summer.

You can see the full trailer for the upcoming season below:

Southpaw Regional Wrestling is a parody of the territorial wrestling shows of the 1980s. Featuring superstars such as John Cena, Fandango, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, AJ Styles, Rusev, Chris Jericho, Ric Flair, and many others, the parody videos have become quite popular.

Characters such as Mr. Mackelroy and the Sea Creature were also featured in a DLC pack for the WWE 2K20 video game.

Editor’s Opinion:

YES!! And the fact that they made the announcement on what would be a “lethal leap year” is a particularly nice touch. I’m so excited about this; I think that these videos are some of the best produced that WWE has ever done. Not only that, but it gives the opportunity for characters who might not get as much time on television a platform to shine and show the world what they are capable of!
