One of the most unnoticed, but somewhat entertaining minor storylines in WWE is that of Curt Hawkins. He is currently on the greatest losing streak in company history, with 219 consecutive defeats in a row.
However, he has not been on television for quite some time; where has he gone?
According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hawkins has been out of action since August 26 of this year, due to a hernia. He is currently hoping to be cleared shortly so that he can return to the ring.
Hawkins last match on WWE television was against Elias on the August 20, 2018 episode of Raw. You can see a clip from that match below:
Editor’s Opinion:
OK, I have to admit that I crack up every time that he is on television. Hawkins always knows how to keep the crowd entertained and this losing streak gimmick is doing just that. In professional wrestling, as long as you have something going that is working, you will always have a job. And this seems to be working for him at this moment!
