Check Out The Inspiration For Some Of The Gear And Looks At Evolution

It came from somewhere. There are some very cool costumes and outfits in wrestling. Some of them are so unique that only the wrestlers wearing them could pull them off, but at the same time there are some that certainly weren’t intended for that person. There are several inspired looks and many of them were at Evolution. However, you might need an idea of who some of them were actually inspired by.

Some of these are more subtle than others.

WWE has posted a new video, looking at the inspirations behind some of the gear and even makeup from this Sunday’s Evolution pay per view. These include some that were announced during the show itself and may have been a little more obvious to some that were a single line of text or the way that Bayley’s makeup was put together. One tribute is even to a WWE Hall of Famer who doesn’t get a lot of attention.

Opinion: These are actually pretty cool and the kind of thing that you might not pick up on just by watching the show. I love that kind of thing as the ideas and effort it takes to go into such tributes and themes are rather intricate and take time to set up. The Sherri Martel eye makeup is a great touch and the kind of thing that belonged on a show designed to celebrate the women of the past.
