The Reason Paige Was Pulled From WWE’s Upcoming Overseas Tour

It had been previously reported that WWE has pulled Paige from their upcoming overseas tour of Australia and New Zealand. Rumors immediately began to swirl that this has something to do with her recent romantic involvement with Alberto Del Rio, however, there have also been rumors that the two have broken up.

All doubt was put to rest this morning, when Paige’s mother took to Twitter to explain why her daughter was pulled from the tour:

 

To all dirt sheets that are slandering my daughter you might have to get facts right before posting. Melt down my arse!! She is injured!!!!

At this time, there is no extent to the extend of her injury.

Paige was last seen on WWE programming on the June 27 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” She teamed with Sasha Banks to defeat the team of Charlotte and Dana Brooke.

In the recent WWE draft, Paige was drafted to the “Raw” brand permanently.

While I never am happy to hear of a superstar being injured, the reason for Paige being pulled from the tour is much better than any backstage politics due to her personal relationships. I hope that she heals quickly, as she is one of the best performers that WWE has, and could make a huge impact in the women’s division on “Raw.”
