If at first you don’t succeed, try try again.

Tonight on “Smackdown Live,” Daniel Bryan made his return and addressed the controversy surrounding the first ever Women’s “Money In The Bank” ladder match that occurred this past Sunday. The finish came when James Ellsworth climbed up the ladder, grabbed the briefcase and simply tossed it down to Carmella, even though he wasn’t in the match.

As a result, all of the other combatants complained to Bryan and said that it was ridiculous that someone who was not in the match took the briefcase and handed it to someone else.

Bryan seemed to agree, and stripped Carmella of her briefcase. He would then announce that next week on “Smackdown Live,” a rematch will occur and Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Natalya, Tamina and Carmella will compete in a “Money In The Bank” ladder match.

Editor’s Note:

This is ridiculous. What did Carmella do that was against the rules? A heel simply used heel tactics in order to obtain the briefcase. In addition, while I’m excited to see another MITB match, giving it away for free on television is takes away from the speciality of only seeing it once per year. I’m not a fan of this decision at all.
