“The Architect” will begin to build his virtual masterpieces.

After being rumored earlier this week, it was revealed on ESPN SportsCenter this morning that Seth Rollins will indeed be on the cover of the WWE 2K18 video game, scheduled for release on October 17, 2017.

Rollins mentioned that he has played video games his entire life and to see his face on the cover is weird for him. He also sent out a tweet expressing his gratitude for this opportunity:

The “Kingslayer” joins the ranks of such superstars and legends as Brock Lesnar, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, John Cena, The Rock, CM Punk, Randy Orton and others to be included on the cover of the WWE 2K series.

Rollins has most recently been in a program with Bray Wyatt and the two are expected to square off at “Great Balls of Fire.”

Editor’s Note:

Awesome. Rollins has been one of the most important parts of WWE’s programming for the last several years, and has earned his place as one of the top performers in the company. If anyone deserves this honor, it is him. Congratulations to the “Kingslayer” for this well-deserved recognition!
