This is only a rumor, so take it for what it’s worth. Samoa Joe was absent on this past week’s episode of Raw, after sustaining a storyline injury. However, rumor suggests that this might not be the reason for the Samoan Submission Machine’s absence.
According to a pair of tweets from WrestleVotes, Samoa Joe has been or is about to be, suspended for a violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. You can see the tweets below:
Word coming out of RAW is that more suspensions are coming. Must be something in that Southern California water (hint hint). Working to confirm details.

Joe was last seen on WWE programming on the January 27, 2020 episode of Raw, where he attempted a suicide dive and missed, which is where he apparently sustained his injury.
We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become available to us.
Editor’s Opinion:
Oh, man. This is one of the worst times that this suspension could possibly take place. Joe is as hot as ever right now, and is doing great work with Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and everyone in the feud that he is in. At least this didn’t happen around WrestleMania time; however, any time that it happens is not a good thing.
