Vince McMahon might not be too happy with this. According to a report from Deadline, NBC is going to be airing the second season of it’s hit show “The Titan Games” at the same time as Raw each week. “The Titan Games” is hosted by former WWE superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Beginning on Monday, May 25, “The Titan Games” will premiere with a two-hour episode beginning at 8 PM ET/PT. Beginning June 1, the series will air weekly in its regularly scheduled 8-9 PM timeslot. Raw normally airs from 8-11 PM EST each week on the USA Network.
From NBC:
Inspired by Johnson’s desire to motivate global audiences to reach their potential for greatness, this unparalleled new athletic competition gives everyday men and women across the country the opportunity to step inside the Titan arena and achieve the impossible. Competitors will push their bodies to the limit by battling opponents in innovative and unforgiving head-to-head challenges, designed by Johnson. Winners will advance to the ultimate challenge of Mt. Olympus, the consummate athletic test of speed, strength, agility, and endurance. In each episode, the male and female competitors who conquer Mt. Olympus will become a Titan.
“The Titan Games” will not only test the competitors’ physical strength, but also their mental and emotional fortitude. In the end, the Titans will return to battle against one another, with one man and one woman emerging as Titan Champion and each winning a grand prize of $100,000.

Editor’s Opinion:
My guess is that this has nothing to do with The Rock, Vince McMahon or WWE. This is probably the time slot that works best for NBC’s overall programming schedule; it just happens to be at a conflicting time with one of The Great One’s first loves! Also, “The Titan Games” are actually pretty cool and I would highly suggest them to everyone! On their DVRs, watching at a later time, of course.
