Oh you didn’t know? According to a report from PWInsider, Road Dogg Jesse James has officially returned to WWE in an executive position.
He will officially be taking over as Vice President of Live Events, a position Jeff Jarrett held until his sudden departure from the company last week.
WrestleVotes also confirmed this with the following tweet:

According to the report, James was among the Paul Levesque team in the black and gold era of NXT who was let go in January 2022. Before that, James resigned as the head of creative for Smackdown, moving to work on the NXT brand. James would later comment on his podcast that Vince McMahon’s work ethic “tapped me out.”
Editor’s Opinion:
This is excellent news for both James and WWE. He has had a long history with the company and has an excellent mind for the business, both from a creative and executive standpoint. He will be able to bring some much-needed energy that the company has been seeing, and I can’t wait to see what he can add to the leadership team!
