Pat Patterson’s Autobiography to Be Released In August

The first ever Intercontinental Champion will get to share his story with the world very soon.

WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson’s autobiography entitled “Accepted: How the First Gay Superstar Changed WWE,” will be released in August of this year. Below is the promotional material for the upcoming book:

 

When Pat Patterson was 17 years old, his parents threw him out of the house after he told them he was in love . . . with a man. Cast off to the United States from Montreal in the 1960s, barely knowing a word of English, he set about a new life as a wrestler. Long before being gay was routinely accepted, Pat lived in the super-macho world of pro wrestling.

This should be a very interesting read. I can imagine that Patterson will have many stories to share from his 50+ years in the wrestling business. Combine that with the difficulty of being who he is, and you have a story that will be both inspirational and informative.
