Official “Raw” Preview – Monday, May 15, 2017

Tonight’s episode of “Raw” emanates from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey; fresh off of the company’s tour of Europe. Here’s what we can expect for tonight’s show:

Dean Ambrose to defend the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz

Although this match was originally scheduled for “Extreme Rules,” The Miz will have his opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship tonight, when he challenges champion Dean Ambrose. There is surely animosity still in place, from when they acted as co-general managers of last week’s show, which means that this match should have an extra sense of intensity!

What’s next for Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman?

It had been previously reported that Braun Strowman will be out of action temporarily, as he was written off of TV last week. How will this affect Roman Reigns going forward, and what will he have to say about his attack on Strowman? We should find out our answer tonight.

Following their victory last week, Sheamus and Cesaro have once again become the No. 1 contenders for the “Raw” Tag Team Championships. When will they have their opportunity at the titles, and what does this mean for Matt and Jeff Hardy?

Alexa Bliss’ “new best friend” stands tall

An uneasy alliance was formed last week, as Nia Jax agreed to be Alexa Bliss’ friend, just as long as a future championship opportunity comes her way. I’ll be curious to see the interaction between not only this duo, but all of the other competitors in the female division.

It’s over when Samoa Joe says it’s over

The rivalry between Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins has been building ever since Joe’s debut the night after the “Royal Rumble.” The two were involved in an intense battle on last week’s show, so it will be interesting to see where this feud goes from here.
