- The Smoothie King Center is an outstanding venue for a wrestling show. I had pretty good seats, yet still felt incredibly close to the action. The entire arena had an intimate vibe, which was cool. Also, getting out of the parking garage took me hardly any time; I was on the interstate and heading home in less than 5 minutes.
- The crowd was definitely 50/50 for both Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens. Oddly enough, they booed heavily when Reigns was doing a backstage interview.
- Unfortunately, the crowd was dead for all of the cruiserweight matches. Which is unfortunate, because they were all great contests.
- The crowd was also dead for the match between Sheamus and Luke Gallows. No one cared.
- I know I’m saying that the crowd was dead for most of these matches, but they were into most of the show.
- I read on Twitter that the segment with HBK, Rusev and Enzo & Cass was terrible on TV. In person, it actually came off very well, and was very entertaining. Rusev is hilarious, and is going to be doing great things with the company in the future.
- I’ve seen The Undertaker in person a few different times, and his entrance still gives me goosebumps and sends chills down my spine. The arena was absolutely SILENT when he was speaking. The amount of respect that he carries is unbelievable.
- The post “Raw” stuff with Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens was amazing. Check out what happened here.
- Overall, it was a terrific live show and I’m thrilled that I made the decision to go. I can’t wait for WrestleMania in New Orleans in 2018!!
