In one of the biggest stories of the week, Brock Lesnar returned at last weekend’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, and in a matter of moments, made his way to the top of the ladder and won the briefcase in the Men’s ladder match.
But who knew that he would be making the return?
According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, those who needed to know, were told that Ali was winning the Money in the Bank match. This was a change from earlier in the week, when it was thought that Drew McIntyre was going to be the winner.
The wrestlers in the match were all told that Ali would not winning, but that he would be on top when an eighth wrestler would arrive and knock Ali off the top of the ladder. They were not told who the wrestler would be, but the idea was that they would believe it to be Braun Strowman.
However, right before the match started, Ali was told it was Lesnar, but told to keep it quiet.

I suppose that keeping it quiet from most folks would be a good thing, as then they wouldn’t have time to voice their own opinions and perhaps express them during the match.
