Tonight on “Monday Night Raw,” The Miz
challenged Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship. After the “A-Lister” tried to hit the “Lunatic Fringe” with a low blow when the referee’s back was turned, Ambrose followed up with a low blow of his own.
Unfortunately, this led to his disqualification, allowing Miz to capture the victory, but Ambrose to keep his title.
Naturally, this did not set well with The Miz, who stormed into General Manager, Kurt Angle’s office, and demanded justice. Angle granted him that justice, in the fact that Miz will get his rematch with Ambrose at “Extreme Rules.”
However, if Ambrose gets himself disqualified, he will lose the Intercontinental Championship.
Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz - Intercontinental Championship Match: Raw, May 15, 2016
Editor’s Note:
If that was the case, why wouldn’t they just make it a No Disqualification match, or an Extreme Rules match? My only line of thinking for that is that they are saving those stipulations for other matches on the card. Either way, these two are having a great feud right now, and I cannot wait to see this one continue!
