“The Beast” is hanging up his MMA boots for good.

According to a report from MMAFighting, Brock Lesnar has informed UFC officials that he will be retiring from the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. He has also been removed from the USADA drug-testing pool, meaning he is no longer officially on their roster.

This news comes in the middle of a suspension that was handed to Lesnar by the Nevada Athletic Commission last month, after testing positive for a banned substance. He had tested positive for clomiphene, which is an estrogen blocker that an athlete typically takes after a steroid cycle.

Lesnar has yet to make an official announcement himself.

“The Beast’s” last foray into the world of MMA was at UFC 200, where he defeated Mark Hunt in a less than meaningful match. He is currently scheduled to face Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida.

Editor’s Note:

This is actually a smart move by “The Beast.” Why risk your health in the Octagon, when you can get paid a lot more to fake fight?
