As previously noted, Brock Lesnar is scheduled to make his return to WWE on Dec. 19, at an event at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

In a press release sent out today by The Forum via their Facebook page, it has been announced that Lesnar will be challenging Alberto Del Rio for the United States Championship. Lesnar has never held any title in WWE except for the World Heavyweight Championship, which he has done four times.

This is the first in a series of upcoming Live Events that Lesnar is being advertised for. He will be at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on Jan. 8, 2016, as well as at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on Feb. 6. He is also scheduled to appear on the Feb. 8 episode of “Monday Night Raw” from Seattle, Washington.

It is unknown at his time if these Live Events will be specials on the WWE Network. Lesnar has appeared on two of these types of specials already this year: The “Beast In The East” event on July 4 from Tokyo, Japan, where he squashed Kofi Kingston, and the “Live from MSG” event on Oct. 3 from Madison Square Garden in New York, where he defeated The Big Show.

Editor’s Note:

There’s no way that Lesnar wins the title, right? Right? Imagine THAT US Open Challenge…
