Darren Young Posts “Cryptic” Tweet From the Hospital

Although, Darren Young hasn’t been the most active face on WWE television since The Primetime Players lost their Tag Team titles to The New Day a few months ago. Part of the reason for that is young has apparently been dealing with some health issues.

Today, Darren Young posted the following “cryptic” tweet with a picture of him in the hospital:

The Primetime Players have been a solid tag team in the division, but it’s been noticeable that their time together has been coming to an end. In 2014, O’Neil and Young split up after Titus turned heel. Unfortunately, the split didn’t work for either man, and they were brought back together.

However, Titus O’Neil has been on WWE television quite a bit over the last month or so. He’s been involved in a strange storyline with Stardust and been trying to get Stardust to “be himself”.

It’s unclear whether or not that concept involves Stardust returning to the Cody Rhodes character on television, or if that concept leads to O’Neil and Stardust forming a new tag team. Unfortunately, that clearly shows that O’Neil is getting along fine without Young, and The Primetime Players team may be coming to an end.
