In the second shocking news story of the day, another WWE superstar has been suspended.

The following announcement was posted both on WWE.com as well as the company’s official Twitter account:

This is Paige’s first violation of the wellness policy. The suspension takes place beginning tomorrow, Thursday, August 18.

There is no doubt that suspicion will be raised concerning this suspension, as it was announced earlier today that her real life boyfriend, Alberto Del Rio, has also been suspended for his first violation of the wellness policy.

Paige was last seen on WWE programming on the June 27 episode of “Monday Night Raw,” where she teamed up with Sasha Banks, to defeat the team of Charlotte and Dana Brooke. She was originally scheduled to be on the company’s recent overseas tour, but was pulled from it due to injury.

It is no secret that Paige and Del Rio are a couple in real life, and it is unknown at this time if their suspensions are for the same reason or not.

We will continue to monitor both stories, and provide updates as they become available to us.

Editor’s Note:

There is no way that these suspensions are not related. If I was Paige, I would get the hell away from Del Rio as quickly as possible. He is clearly a bad influence on her, and is holding her back from maximizing her potential as a WWE superstar.

Side note: It’s Paige’s birthday today. What a heck of a gift.
