You always hate to see it happen. Tonight at Clash of Champions 2020, Andrade and Angel Garza challenged the Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team championships. Although they came up on the losing end, that wasn’t the main story from this contest.
Near the end match, Garza appeared to sustain a leg injury, right before he was supposed to make a tag to Andrade. Right before the camera angle switch to a close-up of Montez Ford, the referee threw up the “X” signal to indicate that an injury had occurred. You can see a clip of it below:

From our own Thomas Hall:
The hot tag brings in Dawkins for the spinebuster (now the Anointment) to Andrade…for the pin at 8:17. Andrade’s shoulder was WAY up at two and no one seemed to expect that as the finish.
Here is a clip from the match, during a planned spot:
According to an update from PW Insider, Garza’s injury was actually related to his hip, not his leg and the belief is the injury may not be as serious as it initially seemed.
We will continue to follow this story and provide updates as they become available to us.
Editor’s Opinion:
When the finish came, I thought that there was a miscommunication between the pumped in crowd noise and the referee, but now I think that the ref just called an audible and ended the match so that Garza could be evaluated. Either way, I hope that he is OK and is back to action real soon; the women of WWE clearly love him!
