At WWE “Survivor Series,” Sting made his highly-anticipated debut for the company, laying out Triple H with a Scorpion Deathdrop and helping Team Cena emerge victorious in the main event.

Based on that outcome, many perceived that a Sting vs. Triple H program was on the horizon, possibly concluding with a bout at WrestleMania 31.

Sting vs. The Undertaker is a match fans have been craving for over a decade, yet it appears that WWE will be going in a different direction.

Rob Feinstein of RF Video wrote several hours before the pay-per-view that he had heard Undertaker won’t be competing at WrestleMania 31 at all:

“From what I’ve been hearing, I think Undertaker and the plans are for Sting and HHH at Mania…….but anything can change, but that’s what I’ve been told.”

Editor’s Note

Like anyone is really going to complain if we get Sting vs. Triple H. Undertaker’s career (for all intensive purposes) is over. Why come back for one last match? Just my opinion.
