Current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar made an appearance cageside at the UFC 184 pay-per-view on Feb. 28, much to the surprise of many.

This comes days after he reportedly walked out of “Monday Night Raw” after an apparent dispute backstage with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over money

F4WOnline later reported that the confrontation between Lesnar and McMahon nearly became physical, with both sides shouting at each other in front of everyone.

Reddit user MetsFan4Ever has more on why Lesnar left “Raw” the way he did, including how it relates to Lesnar’s UFC 184 appearance:

“The argument that lead to Brock Lesnar storming out of Raw last week was that Brock wanted to go to the UFC show this past weekend and discuss a potential deal with the UFC. Vince McMahon was strongly against this as long as Brock was under WWE contract. Brock stormed out of the building and as we all know, showed up at the UFC show. Unless Vince pulls a miracle off, it is just a matter of time before we see Brock Lesnar headlining another UFC pay-per-view.”

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed that Vince was not at all happy over his champion wanting to discuss a new deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Editor’s Note

This situation becomes more complicated by the day. I don’t see any way this relationship between Brock and Vince can be rectified. Lesnar is going back to UFC after WrestleMania 31 and there’s nothing (seemingly) McMahon can do about it.
