Plans for Divas Tag Match Involving AJ Lee at WrestleMania 31

According to a report by PWInsider.com, former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee is backstage at the Prudential Center in Newark and is expected to appear on “Monday Night Raw” tonight.

Plans are in motion for AJ to team with Paige against Nikki and Brie Bella at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 in Santa Clara.

AJ has been away from the ring since losing her WWE Divas Championship rematch to Nikki Bella at “WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, Chairs and Stairs” on Dec. 14.

She needed time off to nurse a neck injury she suffered during WWE “SummerSlam” back in August.

PWInsider noted on Feb. 23 that plans for her eventual return have been set in stone for quite some time.

AJ has reportedly been in hot water with management since making comments on Twitter that were directed at Stephanie McMahon over the state of the Divas division.

“Your female wrestlers have record selling merchandise & have starred in the highest rated segment of the show several times, And yet they receive a fraction of the wages & screen time of the majority of the male roster. #UseYourVoice”

McMahon was said to be irate over the fact that one of her employees would come at her like that on social media.
