We here at WrestlingRumors.net recently reported spoilers for the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown which is set to air on Feb. 14.

During the taping, Jack Swagger defeated Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston and Mark Henry in a Fatal 4-Way match where the winner would be named the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

With his victory, Swagger is now next in line for champion Big E. Langston and his belt.

There is a very strong possibility that we will see Big E. Langston vs. Jack Swagger for the Intercontinental Championship take place at the Elimination Chamber PPV at the Target Center on Feb. 23.

The last time Langston defended his title was during Monday Night RAW on Dec. 30 in a victory over Fandango.

Swagger hasn’t worn gold since Jan. 16, 2012 when he defeated Zack Ryder to become the United States Champion.
