Charlotte’s first major WWE Divas Championship title defense will be no easy task.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, tentative plans are for Charlotte to put the gold on the line in a Triple Threat match against Nikki Bella and Paige at WWE “Hell in a Cell” on Oct. 25 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.

It was at “Night of Champions” Sunday night when Charlotte put an end to Nikki’s 301-day reign as champion, making her tap out to the Figure-Eight to win the belt.

The following night on “Raw,” Charlotte, along with her fellow Team PCB members and father Ric Flair, had a celebration in the middle of the ring, which was ultimately cut short by a “pipebomb” of sorts from Paige.

Charlotte went on to defeat Brie Bella following Paige’s tirade.

Editor’s Note

Now THIS is how you begin a Divas Revolution. No more fluff. Cracks are beginning to form in the teams. It’s every Diva for herself, basically – which is how it always should have been. There’s really no need for Becky Lynch and Charlotte to remain allies. Everyone wants to be the champ. Flair’s kid needs a decent reign, but it wouldn’t shock me to see the belt become a hot potato over the next year.
