*SPOILERS ARE AHEAD*

According to PWInsider.com, during the TNA IMPACT tapings in Glasgow, Scotland this past week, Kurt Angle was attacked with multiple chairs for an angle (no pun intended), thus being written out of storyline’s for what appeared to be the foreseeable future.

He was expected to have knee surgery during the month of January, but due to the absence of both Sting and Jeff Hardy, Angle was desperately needed to appear during the Overseas tour.

When the tour hit Manchester, Angle was told by writers that he was going to appear during a run-in segment, despite having been written-off during the previous show. He then proceeded to freak out as he knew he would be working against doctors orders.

A match between Angle and Ethan Carter III was announced in London the following day. It now appears that the Olympic gold medalist will be working TNA Lockdown without having his surgery.
