As we previously reported, Sting supposedly signed a legends contract with WWE. While there were even additional reports of the deal between WWE and Sting, according to F4WOnline, the two have still not reached a deal. However, the general feeling backstage is that it is a forgone conclusion that he will sign with WWE.

Additionally, it is expected that WWE will not rush Sting into a match at WrestleMania XXX, according to the website. While there is no scheduled date on when Sting will debut, there are talks about what role Sting will have on “Monday Night Raw,” when he does debut. F4WOnline is reporting that one of the working ideas at the moment would see Sting become the new General Manager of “Monday Night Raw.”

Brad Maddox is the current General Manager of “Monday Night Raw,” and has held the position since the July 8 edition of the program. However, Maddox’s tenure as the GM has been marked by him being controlled by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, The Authority.
