Former WWE Diva AJ Lee’s company record for the longest overall reign with the Divas Championship is now in serious jeopardy.
Current champion Nikki Bella has officially reached the 272-day mark, placing her 23 days behind AJ’s 295-day record. Nikki made this apparent recently on her official Twitter account, giving retweets to fans who acknowledged her benchmark:

Once one member of a team has been pinned or submitted, the entire trio will be officially eliminated from the bout until only one is left standing in the end.
AJ retired as an active competitor on April 3. Due to her tumultuous reputation backstage with her husband being the ever-controversial CM Punk, WWE may be seeking to erase her from the history books by having Nikki be the new queen atop the mountain.
Editor’s Note
Noooooooooooo……..
I’m still kind of shocked that Nikki has held the gold this long. While her reign certainly deserves some respect, WWE’s current champion is now lost in the shuffle with the inclusion of NXT Divas/Women to the main roster. Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Paige, and Sasha Banks all feel more important right now, which is why it’s integral for Nikki to look good on Sunday at “SummerSlam.” She is the titleholder, after all. Book her as such.
