Mick Foley Teases Major Announcement

WWE Hall of Famer and “Hardcore Legend” Mick Foley has released a cryptic statement on his personal Facebook account:

After giving the matter much thought, I have come to an important decision regarding my furure. I know that not everyone will agree with, or support the decision, but I do hope the decision will be respected. I will make the announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

He later confirmed this potential announcement through his Twitter account (@realmickfoley):

On Tuesday afternoon, I will be making an announcement concerning an important decision I have reached.

Foley recently sat down for a two-part interview with Jeff Jerrett for his Global Force Wrestling promotion, so there’s a possibility that his major announcement could pertain to him working with the organization.

Those close to Foley are also saying that he’s looking to get out of the public eye and spend more time with his family. He’s booked for events through November, so it’s hard to believe his announcement will have to do with that.

Editor’s Note

With Foley on shaky ground with World Wrestling Entertainment, him joining Global Force Wrestling wouldn’t shock me in the slightest. He’s really hyping this announcement up, though. Very interesting.
