WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan recently underwent successful neck surgery to repair nerve tissue.

According to F4WOnline.com, Bryan will be appearing on the 05/19 edition of “Monday Night Raw” in London, but it will be likely be via a taped interview.

That has yet to be made official, but the word going around backstage is that Bryan will not be at the 02 Arena for the show.

An announcement will be made on “Raw” concerning the future of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. No timetable has been set for Bryan’s return, but if he were to miss a significant amount of time, there’s a very good chance that he could be stripped of the belt later tonight.

Editor’s Note

The best-case scenario would be Bryan appearing via satellite to give good news on his recovery time, but that’s completely up in the air at this point. After all of the momentum he gained for himself heading into WrestleMania XXX and beyond, we could be hours away from all of that going up in smoke.
