During an appearance on NBC’s “Today” on Thursday, Cena revealed that he will be granting his 500th wish for the Make-A-Wish foundation this Monday night on “Raw.”
The wish will be granted for eight-year-old Rocco Lanzer, who was diagnosed with leukemia in January.
“But I wasn’t feeling my best,” Rocco said about meeting Cena earlier in the year at the hospital. “I didn’t get a chance to talk to him like I wanted to, and I wish I could meet him again.”
Cena then showed up on set with gear for Rocco, along with two tickets to go see “Raw” live at the Barclays Center.
“A lot of times when people donate time or resources, there’s a little speculation about where it goes,” Cena said about the foundation. “I’m at the finish line. I get to see the families; I get to see the joy and the hope that we bring.”
“I’ll continue to be involved with Make-A-Wish as long as they’ll have me.”

Say something bad about John Cena now, haters. He plays a character on television, but away from the spotlight, this guy is an absolute gem.
