“The Boss” Sasha Banks may be a little banged up following one of the greatest women’s matches in WWE history at “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn” this past Saturday, losing her NXT Women’s Championship to Bayley.

Reports had circulated following the bout that Banks had injured herself at the special event, with a reverse hurricanrana being the potential culprit.

Replays show that the now former champion may have landed on her head, although Banks did finish the match, embracing Bayley and fellow Four Horsewomen members Charlotte and Becky Lynch afterwards. According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Banks was pretty sore after her epic matchup, but she’s not suffering from any serious injuries at the moment. She competed the following night at “SummerSlam” in a three-team Divas Revolution Elimination Tag match with her Team B.A.D. allies against Team PCB and Team Bella, although her time between the ropes was short-lived.

Banks wasn’t seen on “Monday Night Raw” this week, although she’s expected to appear during “Smackdown.”

Editor’s Note

If anyone deserves a bit of a break right now, it’s Banks. The WWE Universe is aching for her to capture the Divas Championship, so hopefully a recharged and refreshed “Boss” will benefit her moving forward.
