8/29!! CJ Parker’s/CJP’s last match! Sorry to say, but Moonchild is hanging da boots up! ? Thanks for everything, everyone!!! @UvTWrestling — CJP (@WWEMoonChild) August 10, 2015
For fans unfamiliar with his work, Parker was the man who took on Kevin Owens in his in-ring debut at “NXT Takeover: R Evolution,” busting him open and breaking his nose with an open palm strike.
Parker and World Wrestling Entertainment mutually parted ways on March 28, with WWE.com confirming the news three days later.
He signed his developmental deal in 2011, winning the Florida Championship Wrestling Tag Team titles on two occasions with Donny Marlow and Jason Jordan.
Following his release, Parker worked the CZW Best of the Best XIV tournament under the name CJP, advancing to the semifinals before falling to “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

Farewell, Mr. Parker. It’s been a doozy.
