Wrestling Rumors reported back in May that WWE was set to film the sixth season of their “Tough Enough” series in July.

Rather than bring in competitors from outside the company, this season was to feature superstars from the NXT developmental system.

F4WOnline.com is now reporting that due to WWE’s ongoing budget cuts, filming won’t commence until sometime in October.

The original plan was for a second season of “Legend’s House” to commence filming this week, with “Tough Enough” taking place shortly thereafter.

Now there’s word that “Legend’s House” may be done for good, although that has yet to be confirmed.

Both shows will air exclusively on the WWE Network.

Editor’s Note

Ariane Andrew, the first competitor eliminated from the last season of “Tough Enough,” is the only participant currently under contract to WWE. That should tell you all you need to know about the show and what it accomplishes.
