As we previously reported, Vince McMahon is not sold on many of WWE’s recent call-ups from NXT. Among them was Adam Rose, who debuted on the May 5 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” While Vince McMahon is typically not sold on many new additions to the main WWE roster, Rose found himself on the hot seat with WWE officials. In fact, producer Kevin Dunn adamantly disliked the Adam Rose character.

A recent report by F4WOnline suggests that things have not gotten any better for Adam Rose. When Rose faced Paul Revere, portrayed by Damien Sandow, at “Money in the Bank,” it was reportedly Rose’s pay-per-view chance to shine. In the match, the crowd did not get behind Adam Rose that much, meaning Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn’s opinions of Rose worsened.

Following “Money in the Bank,” Adam Rose did not wrestle on “Monday Night Raw,” “Main Event,” or “Smackdown.” Though, Rose was briefly featured on “Raw.” Alongside Santino Marella, Rose and his Exotic Express were featured in a backstage segment, advertising Twisted Tea.

Editor’s Note

That likely explains why Rose was kept off of WWE programming for the most part during the week. With the character still not getting over, a repackaging at NXT is inevitable.
